Who are you guys?
Check out our about us page
-
How much does this cost?
Absolutely nothing! FREE dollars, please!
-
There aren't enough workers in my area? How can I help spread the word of the site?
Right now, the best way is to spread the word via any means you can think of. In the near future, we will have features to help you do so.
-
How does the site know who to send emails to?
We use Google Maps to basically find other users that are closest to your shift and then send them an email.
-
I love your site! How can I help you guys out?
The best thing you can do is to get all of your coworkers on the site. We also suggest asking your manager to send out a district-wide email alerting other managers of this new service.
-
I have a complaint! Who can I rant to?
Email us at: HaveMyShift@gmail.com or send us a comment

How can I remove myself from Have My Shift?
Log into the site and click on the 'Settings' tab. Click on the 'Delete me!' link and click 'ok' to finish. If you do so, please send us an email to let us know why you wanted to leave!
-
How do I change how many emails I receive?
Log into the site and click on the 'Settings' tab. Click on the 'Edit' link underneath your current email frequency.
*Instant notification sends an email every time a user within your selected radius posts a shift.
*Daily digest will send you one email every day with a compiled list of shifts.
*No shift notification will keep you from receiving any emails.
Employee Specific Questions
-
How do I post a shift?
Register for the site if you haven't done so. Login then click on the 'post a shift' tab.
-
Ok, I posted a shift. Now what?
Just sit back and wait for someone to contact you! If you're in a bind, try adding some extra money to the shift. We have found this attracts MUCH more interest in your shift.
-
What does it mean when a shift has 'extra money'?
No money is actually exchanged through Have My Shift. We just offer a place to PROMISE the money to the other person who is covering your shift. In the future, we will allow you to record whether or not the person actually lived up to their promise!
-
What are the different ways I can be notified of shifts?
Right now, we only offer the email option. In the future, we will offer text messaging capabilities from specific stores and/or individuals. If you have any other means that you'd like to be notified, tell us!
-
Someone is interested in my shift. Now what?
It is always best practice to make sure you are following your company practices. Make sure you are able to work those hours and are not going into overtime. Notify your manager and supervisor of the exchange. Do everything in your power to make sure everything goes over smoothly. Be responsible.
Managerial Specific Questions
-
How can I use the site as a manager?
Absolutely! We often have managers send us great feedback about how it helped them get out of a bind. Just register like a normal user and post all of the shifts that you need to get covered! We'll do the rest.
